Reports, Bylaws & Policies

Bylaws

As an organization committed to serving the needs and interests of our senior members, we have established a comprehensive set of bylaws that serve as the foundation of our governance and operations. These bylaws provide the structure and guidelines by which our association operates, ensuring transparency, accountability, and fairness in all our endeavours.

We are pleased to inform members that the MWSA Bylaws that were adopted by passing a Special Resolution at the AGM on March 23, 2024, are in effect now.

Policies

We are dedicated to fostering a vibrant and inclusive community for our members. To ensure the well-being, rights, and enjoyment of all our members, we have established a set of policies that guide our operations and interactions within the organization.

These policies are designed to promote respect, safety, and a sense of belonging among our members, as well as to outline the procedures and expectations that govern our activities.

MWSA acknowledges that the land on which our facility rests is Treaty 6 Territory, a traditional meeting ground for many Indigenous Peoples, including Plains and Wood Cree, Assiniboine, Saulteaux, Niitsitapi (Blackfoot), Métis, Nakota Sioux, and Chipewyan. Their spiritual and practical relationships with the land continue to create a rich heritage for our community. We are deeply honoured to share this land. Policies | Built on ShoutCMS
