JFSE Brochure

Could you or a senior you know in Edmonton use some help around the house?  Contact the above number to get referrals of screened, reliable service providers for free.  Services Include:

  • snow shoveling
  • home maintenance such as painting, roofing, odd jobs
  • yard maintenance such as grass cutting and tree care or removal
  • housekeeping including laundry, cleaning and meal preparation
  • downsizing and/or moving
  • dog walking

How the Program works:

  1. When seniors contact , they are given referrals to service providers.
  2. Seniors contact the service provider and discuss the work that needs to be done and the costs.
  3. The senior then selects a service provider that fits their needs.
  4. Seniors are not charged for the referral but pay the service provider for the work done.

Business and Independent Contractors

If you are a local business or an independent contractor who provides snow removal, yard work, housekeeping, minor home repair or any service that can help a senior stay in their home longer, we encourage you to register with our program.

MWSA acknowledges that the land on which our facility rests is Treaty 6 Territory, a traditional meeting ground for many Indigenous Peoples, including Plains and Wood Cree, Assiniboine, Saulteaux, Niitsitapi (Blackfoot), Métis, Nakota Sioux, and Chipewyan. Their spiritual and practical relationships with the land continue to create a rich heritage for our community. We are deeply honoured to share this land. Policies | Built on ShoutCMS
